My sister carried a basket to market.
ReplyDeleteThe market was crowded. Some peoples were buying goods and some peoples are selling goods. We can buy different kind of foods in the market.
My sister bought some vegetables, fish, meat and fruits.
After that, my sister went home.

As this is an essay describing something happened in the past, we should use past tense.
(1)brings - brought
(2)are buying - were buying
(3)has buy - bought
How to use "the" ??
(1) when we refer a paricular thing, we use the.
(2) when the thing is superlative
In your first paragrah :
my sister brings the basket to the market.(wrong)
my sister brings a basket to market.(correct)
mummy jasmine, the essay too simple, try to get a tougher & longer essay.
or now that ke shin has practiced translating essays from chinese, ask her to write her own english essay, such as her recent trip to KL or PD or something interesting that happened in school, etc. this will encourage her creative thinking as well.
